I had bad luck today aswell. Only 2 of my 3 £6.00 ones were deducted, even though the lad kept them all.
Therefore not sure which didn't go through, I had new & old qp & yellow.
Annoyed as only had 1 new qp so really gutted. I didn't have blue.
Then to top off I noticed my 300 pts coupon on kids clothes hadn't gone through neither.
I did go to CS about this & she had to go to the till to fetch the spit & add it on. I daren't mention the £6.00 aswell as had £30.00 off £56.00 shop, using combinations of t&b & newspaper coupons. She didn't batter an eyelid at the amount of discount.0 -
Which others did you try, and was it the 2x£6 accepted or a £10 and a £6, and which order did you hand them in.............Ive found if the £10 one doesnt get scanned first, it tends to be rejected.....and are you sure your spend was £60 and nothing came through unexpectedly reduced, bringing the total down to below £60.
defo spent over £60 as had to get hubby to grab something else as it was under £60, I thought exactly the same about the £10 one, it didn't go through but was the 3rd in my pile, 1x menswear scanned 1x womenswear scanned (both blue) and1x old quit clothing, so £10 blue and other old quit didn't scan0 -
i can't give you info about the £25 coupon as i put it in the self scan for my second transaction, spent another £30 on 2 pairs of jeans for me. the till accepted a £6 quit and the £5 one which makes me wonder why the £5 one was rejected when it went through the main tills
the till asked the assistant to verify it because it always does with coupons for over £1, she came over but just looked at the top coupon in the machine and was too busy to notice i had used a £6 one too.
it was from an old set of blues i think, didn't they used to be £25 worth of vouchers instead of £26?'bad mothers club' member 13

It seems the tills may have been set to only accept a certain amount? There are quite a few people who have had coupons rejected despite buying to correct amount of clothing."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0

Yes, the older blues were for ANY clothing rather than specific spends like kids, mens, womens etc. They are £10 off £50, £6 off £30, £5 off £25 and £4 off £20. I have found these to be more tempermental (sp) than the newer ones for some reasonSome people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0 -
Made a special trip out to try and find some of the elusive new quit kits and yellow clothing vouchers. Dont normally venture into shops when the kids are off as DS (4) isn't very co-operative and stresses me out! Gave him a special job to do today- placing the £6 clothing vouchers all around the clothing department for other peeps to make use of (from the old quit kit pack- expire today) Went to 2 large stores but nothing to be found.:happylove
Blissfully content & happy with life0 -
Foxylady what a nice lady you are putting the vouchers out for others ive found some off those quit vouchers today if anyone wants the beauty etc out of them cos they dont expire until the end of the month just send me a stamped addressed envelope0

The tills are definately accepting the different barcode clothes coupons (certainly today)
We did a £70ish clothes shop, about £35 each mens and womens clothes.
I picked the young, board looking chap on the tills. Waited. Just as I got to the front, in steps middle aged woman. So I simply told her I had a few clothing coupons sent to me from the clothing club and could I use them, as you had to spend quite a bit to use them all. Yes, she said.
I used:
1 * £10 blue (this was first in the pile)
2 * £6 QK (old)
2 * £6 QK (new)
2 * £6 blue mensware
2 * £6 blue womensware
1 * £4 off £40 HomePlus shop
1 * £2.70 coupon for GQ from the Mail last week.
I should have tried two of the £4 HomePlus ones (as with other bits in my shop the total was over £80), but forgot I had a second one with me until after we'd paid. She looked at the the one I did give her, and the £2.70 one closely, but just scanned them anyway.
Shame I didn't have the new yellow ones, as I'd have got money off my other shopping.
During R&R, I couldn't get my OH out for love nor money, now I just show her a pile of clothing vouchers and it's a family trip out to Mr T's!!"Life was easier when I didn't have a clue"0
