Had a bit of a near miss yesterday. Spent £145, £105 was clothing and gave over a load of vouchers. Used a SA that I'd used many times before but she called over a Supervisor, asking if she could take all the vouchers, while she was talking she also kept scanning the vouchers. Supervisor didn't have a clue so went to get someone else. Another supervisor said to me that you can only use 1 voucher for each £30 you spend? and asked SA what had scanned, she says "Oh, they've all gone through" so supervisor says well just accept them as I can't be bothered to work out what should have gone through. Phew! Didn't realise till I got home that the SA must have scanned a couple of vouchers twice as more came off than I gave her. Result! Just hope there wasn't a post mortem later in the day as this is a store that I like to use as several v. good SAs.
  • Ive only used a £4 blue one once and that scanned through ok that was June expiry i did spend £25 on kids clothes though

Not sure here, as I'd spent £61.00 on kids clothing & in with that was a baseball hat age 4-8, blue with fire stripes down the side. All £58.00 vouchers were excepted.

On another receipt I bought £28.00 kids £36.00 womens. In with that was a kids pair of pink sandals, but the receipt reads SPORT SANDAL. All vouchers went through then.

Hit & miss I bought kids flip flops & some vouchers were refused by till but others seem to have had the vouchers accepted.

I braved the bullet and handed over a £4 kids blue one and it worked. I had bought baby 12-18 mth stuff. I handed it over first if that makes the difference???
I do need to take an item back - hubbie t- shirt that I did not realise was lycra!! Makes him look like he has man boobs. I did not use my clubcard but a load of coupons. I have never been pulled up about coupon use whilst returning stuff but am always ready with the 'clubcard' voucher excuse. Because I did not use my clubcard this time can I still use this if they do say anything??Or do you need to have your card scanned when using the proper clubcard vouchers??

IMHO,The best excuse in the world is..."I'm sorry I didnt do the original purchase, Ive just been asked (by my sister etc) If i could return this, so sorry cant answer your questions as i'm just the messenger".......(and if necessary)...."I know she used some of our Mams clubcard vouchers".
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
"I'll let you be in my dreams if I can be in yours, "I said that............................ Bob Dylan 1963
