Ordered Bozita A Couple of Days Ago...

And the old, skinny cat hasn't stopped eating since the first pack was opened.

She's gone back to her bowl 17 times since I put it down for her at 7.45pm. And every time, she comes back over here and belches essence of reindeer over me.

If she eats any more of this, her nose is going to turn red and glow in the dark.

They've got chicken and pumpkin Almo tomorrow night (they get a complete dry in the morning, so complementary foods won't hurt them).

Fred/Maciuc - raw meat.. totally mental, killer cats
    George - dreamies....
Teddy - easyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, nothing really, cool like cucumber

Zara - anything I myself munch on, she will have it with a wagging tail

    *****************

Do NOT order a truck load of Bozita just because they like it now. The moment you order in bulk - they will go off THAT food completely.

BUt hey - you KNOW that ;)

Always pretend whatever you give them is the LAST TIN ;)

Dogs - human food that came from human plates on the human table. One of them loved coffee, if there was coffee within his reach it would be gone.

Guinea pigs - pretty much any vegetables. They just disappear - nom nom nom - I don't think the piggies would ever stop eating until the food ran out.

All cat food excites Lulu, but she particularly likes Bozita in gravy and Butchers Classic. Toplife is new and has been well received. Noah loved raw most, bone in meat would get 'kidnapped' before eating. :D

  • Bozita Crayfish has also been demolished repeatedly - she's now stuffed to the gills, appropriately enough, and has allowed the ninja cat to touch her whilst they sleep.

She's doing this to lull me into a false sense of security, isn't she?

Havn't tried that food on mine.
One of mine has just had one of those "Not eating THAT" sessions foolishly I tried to tempt them with everything in their food cupboard. Why do I make myself a slave to these furry despots?
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

Bozita seems to be consistently well received by cats and I've not heard of many getting bored with it. There are three variants - pate, in jelly and in gravy plus quite a few flavours which gives you options. I would say in jelly went down least well here and seems to have less meat than the other two so I don't buy it any more.

I am mean, if I open something and Lulu doesn't eat much it gets left down as long as possible (different summer/ winter). Then tiny portions until that pack is all gone, then switch to something else for a few days/ weeks before returning. :o

All my 5 love Bozita, and I would like to feed it as their main wet food, but unfortunately for some unknown reason it gives the 2 Bengals diarrhoea if fed for 2 - 3 days in a row (it doesn't do this for the moggies). So mine only get it as an occasional treat ;)

Oh, yeah, the chicken yoghurt things. They're popular here, too - and catsticks are the best way of getting daily thyroid medication into Her Majesty - the other two stomping around until they get their share of stick is quite funny. Well, it was until Dizz got hold of her piece with the tablet in when she dropped it. I didn't have a chance of stopping it go down.

(one slightly stressed phone call to the vets later and I had the vicarious pleasure of seeing the little git snore the entire day away as a result).

Today has been a bonus day. I had liver for dinner. So they had a little bit of raw each as well, for a snack. It also went down well.

I'm not used to them eating dinner happily, I'm used to disgusted stomps away from the bowls - what is going on?
