I have a ccj from 03 october for 388 which i satisfied on 25th November 08. At the time I was in the Royal Navy and was away serving. I came back in october to find a court order to pay and when I came home there was a week left to pay. As I was away when serving when it was first issued would I be able to get this overturned because I was out of the country. I no you can get a ccj overturned if you satisfy it within a month but as I was 3 weeks over the month time frame I was wondering what the chances were. This ccj is seriously harming me getting a mortgage so any help, advice or opinions would be greatly received.
Cheers

Not sure you can get this overturned if it was satisfied, but it will come off your credit report in 2014.
Are you using a broker to find you a mortgage? they can sometimes get good deals for people with the odd thing like this on their credit report...0 -
I have looked at a couple but the one who could offer me one could only get 100000 with a 25% deposit. Unfortunately that kind of deposit is too much and we were hoping for a 90% mortgage. we have seen houses for around 80000. what doesnt help is I will have to get the mortgage in my own name as my girlfriend has a discharged bankruptcy0
