Wow some interesting reading, in my area it's £85 for a one bed, in the City of London it's £250 for the same one bed :eek:
Try finding a landlord in the City of London who accepts a housing benefit claimant compared to your arae....A decent 1 bed flat in the area can easily rent for £350 or more.0 -

I can believe it.
I'm just surprised that the Government have made so much of the 26K cap, when they are still paying for a 4 bed house at £400 a week, which leaves about 6k for a family of four.
I'm not arguing the cap should be higher, but clearly rents are out of control in some places.0
