  • My postie bought me one of the best little bits of post today. No not a win byt four squares of cadbury marble choc off my sister. They used to do it in UK but not for years and my sis said they had it when she was travelling so she got hold of some and sent me a bit. Oh it was just like i remembered :D what a thoughtful sis I have

  • Hi, everyone

    Hope we are all well.

What a night sheils, glad to hear that you are ok today though.

Have made an appointment to see someone regarding a course Im wanting to do. The only problem is that its free if you are on benefits, but of course the letters are all addressed to DH and not me so Im not sure if that means I will have to pay, which I can't afford so will have to give it a miss if so. The problem is I am looking for work and these courses will help as my experience is over 4 years ago. This will give me something a bit more recent. Just waiting to hear back from the lady Im meeting tomorrow. Im half and half if it will be a problem after all surely the benefits my husband gets in his name are a couple's benefits. There would be no housing or council tax benefit if I was working would there? Im hoping that if it does effect anything that they will repeat the courses so I can claim JSA and do the courses that way. But first will see what the lady says.

Lovely weather here again and have washing out again. Gym this aft and some comping this evening and a bit tonight.

Good luck everyone hope today brings some wonderful surprises

Congrats on your wins and nephew PMS - I hope everything goes well for him. I can't even imagine having a baby so small.

Hope you manage to get the course you want zombie. There seem to be so many peeps on here looking for jobs. I hope you are all successful soon.

I had a lovely walk by the river in the sunshine and then came back and booked two £19 Premier Inn nights for the places and dates I wanted so glad I held off booking. There are quite a lot of dates at the moment for £19 if anyone is looking for bargains.

  • She's had a horror of a pregnancy & this is her 3rd premature baby, my first nephew sadly isn't with us (he was born at 23 weeks in 2006), my niece was born at 29 weeks last October (she's 10 month old now) & my new nephew was born at 26 weeks by emergency c section so hopefully he's like his sister & a little fighter.

  • Thinking of your sister Princess and hope that your nephew keeps fighting.

Got my Burn Mark and hooked on books goody bag today. Its also got the book Throne of Glass in. Dont know when I'll get chance to read them, but I will.

Also have been told that I should be OK to do the course I want to do. Also Ive seen that there is a chance I can do the proper qualification course that I want to do.

Congrats 'auntie' princessmoneysaver :) hope he is home soon, fingers crossed for the little fighter xx

DD got very upset today, she didn't want to go back to school. She's very shy and finds it difficult to fit in. When she came home she said she has been moved up a class so I think that's cheered her up :) I'll forever worry about her!
Off to take kids to gym class. SYS.

Hope your DD will be happier in the new class wingo. I was a really shy child and DH says he was too and we have the most outgoing non shy kids you can imagine! A boy yesterday annoyed DD by calling her names and saying Heil Hitler to her half German pal and then trying to trip her up so she grabbed his coke bottle, hit him over the head and made him appologise in front of everyone.
