Love that pic wingo, I will share that with my Boxer Owners Facebook page if that's okay :)

It's very appropriate too. Coops is on antihistamines and the vet said they might make him drowsy, he's more or less sleeping the clock around! He wakes up to eat and wet and goes for his walks, but in between he climbs into his bed and snores like a good un!

Thanks for "anniversary" wishes everyone! If anyone is interested our first date was to a wedding reception I had been invited to - I was so fed up of him hanging around when he delivered my mail and not asking me out that I asked him! :rotfl:
    Brilliant pics today everyone.
Enjoy seeing the footballers Becks - remember just look don't touch!
DH is far better at remembering dates than I am.
Hope the weather will be Ok for your 10K zombie.
Shame you didn't get far for the holidays wingo - maybe you could win one for the October Hols.
Hope Cooper feels more lively soon Sue. My mother worries all the time about her labrador as my dad says the dog always comes first .
Will share a drink with you to celebrate later fire**fly.

    Thanks LadyM & Sylvia!

Will share fire**fly's pic Sylvia I'm sure she won't mind. One reason we started celebrating this date was that we were often heading off on holiday on our wedding anniversary.

Forgot to say well done on the 100,00 thanks Sue - congrats.

DS1 is arriving home over the weekend or Monday (from Bermuda), not sure when as he might stay with a mate before collecting his hire car. He is flying off to Australia 3 weeks after that and somehow managed to put my email as a contact for the airline. I sent his emails all to spam this morning but luckily they were still there! You think when your kids are grown up they won't cause you any more bother! He is a 29 year old accountant and seems to do the silliest things sometimes.

Glad you received it safely Becks - will be something to look back on in years to come - if only to laugh at the clothes everyone is wearing.

Sheils - hope you have a lovely day celebrating the day you and your DH met. We do this too - 25 years for us this October. I met him at a welcome do for postgraduate students when I moved to Kent from Scotland. We chatted a bit and I said something along the lines of "you must come round sometime". I then went off shopping and when I got back to my flat he'd been waiting for me there for a couple of hours! So that was that :kisses3:

I've been to the dentist this morning - have a real phobia about it, but "no fillings today Mum!" as the ad used to say - some of you will be too young to know what I'm on about. :rotfl:

I'm off out tonight with DH and another couple to see Sister Act the musical in our local theatre. I won the tickets at the end of last year and it's taken forever to come round but is here at last. Having an Italian meal first so looking forward to my night out.

Hope everyone's having a good day.

Well the postman needn't have bothered, all he brought was a new Tax Code for DH. It's changed a heck of a lot, so next month should show a real difference in his money (not in our favour :( ) We knew it would because he's getting paid and drawing a pension.

We were married 37 years last April, it's gone so quickly. When I first met him it was when I joined the local Hospital Radio. I remember saying to a friend, "He seems like a nice bloke, but I couldn't be around him too long", now look at us :) It was only because my face hurt where he had made me laugh so much, he was so funny.

I was in Morrisons on Saturday and asked the lady behind me what the date was (I've lost all track since I finished work). She said it was the 19th and her Husband jumped in and said "No, it's the 18th, you would think she'd remember, it's our wedding anniversary". I told her she was letting the side down!
