  • Lady M - Each page (or tab) of my spreadsheet is for something different:

    1. Where I post all my new comps that I have entered today. At the end of the day I sort this out so I can copy and paste the data over to the correct tab
    2. Stats showing me how many comps I have entered each day with a running total. I have just also added how many dailies Ive entered that day too (ie ones that Ive already entered so not new) just so I can see how many comps I am entering on each day. Column A is the date, B is the number of new comps that day, C is the running total of B, D is the number of dailies that are not new entered that day and E is B and D added together.
    3. Stats showing various things. What Ive won and how much it would cost me to buy the item with a running total (that wont work if I ever win something amazing that money just can't buy), how many Ive entered that end in each month and how many Ive won of those eg I entered 819 that ended in June and won 4. I also keep a note here of where I am on MSE for when I go by order of comps posted.
    4. Dailies. I copy and paste a new comp in there if its one to enter every day so I know where I am.
    5. Those where I dont know the end date
    6. Those that ended in June (once the end date is 2 months away it gets deleted which is why it starts in June)
    7. Those that ended in July
    8. Those that end in August
    9. September
    10. October
    11. November
    12. December
    13. Finally those that end in 2013 (yes I have a couple)
I know I certainly dont NEED to do all that, but I just got carried away and Im liking my organised spreadsheet of it all. :o:o:o I also email it to myself too, just in case my PC breaks. :o:o:o

Postie had bought another book to review for Waterstones. Am definitely only going to apply for the ones I really really really want to read in next few months as I am getting far too many to keep up with at minute and no space left for more.

As soon as we'd got on the road to Whitby it was chucking it down! All I was bothered about was my washing on the line but when I got home it was sunny here and the washing dry! :D still....was a nice day out :)

Sheils, the pool is up the top steps near the whale bones (not far from Whitby pavilion) there's go carts, trampolines, carting, golf etc and the pool is an open pool, not deep but all clean so the kids can play in free. When it's a sunny day it's lovely up there :)

Well done on your wins fire**fly and Sylvia :T

Zombie...you're very organised with your spread sheets! I tend to just have a notepad for my wins and only use the thanks button to know which I've entered! :o I'm a lazy comper!

Logan is a lovely name Sue & LadyM :) I loved that name from the film, Logan's run. Some great names nowadays.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

so if i enter a comp i mark down what the prize is, the end date and site?

does that not make comping take longer?

also do you do it on paper or on your computer?

Bloody Nora! You're organised! :rotfl: That would be too much for my M.E brain to cope with, I think. :( I do write all of my wins down in notepad on my laptop but think I might start keeping a record of how many I enter a day and how many I win. Not sure I could even cope with writing down every comp I enter though!

My MIL dropped a load of books off yesterday for me to read. It will take me ages because my concentration is screwed!
