Afternoon, sorry not got long to read back. Have only got an hour or so today to get my comps in.

I've had a WEM!! I've won a Nomination starter bracelet. It's the 'modern day' equivalent of a charm bracelet where you replace the actual links with links that have things on them. They look quite nice. I've got to go to Canterbury to collect it, but that's only 20 minutes away so not a problem.

Hey everyone.

DH and I had the opticians today. He'd never been to the opticians before! :eek: I tend to go religiously because of my eye problems.lol. He said that the test was weird.:rotfl: Anyway, he has alot of pain in his eyes and even though the optician said that he has better than 20/20 vision, she's given him a small prescription anyway to see if that will help with the eye strain.

My prescription hasn't really changed.

Then DH took me to ASK for lunch as a reward for finishing my first OU course.

Now I'm shattered so going to rest. The kitten is currently wrapped around my leg on the sofa! Weird animal.:rotfl:

Also, we've found a potential car! Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Postman brought our freebie eBay things today along with the face mask I won from Twitter. Nice to have some parcels arrive!

Then just a few minutes ago I got a DM on Twitter and I've won a book. First win of october, yay :j

Vauxhall Signum, hopefully. It's secondhand from a trade seller because secondhand is all we can afford. We car share with MIL at the moment, which usually involves DH walking down to his parents to get the car when we need it and then coming to pick me up and we usually have to check our schedules with eachother as we both have alot of appointments so it will be nice to have our own car again.

That sounds good LM. You will be able to get about better with your own car. Second hand is good, you loose such a lot of money once you take a new one out of the showroom. Hope you get it OK

Went in hairdressers at 4:05 and was out with my hair back to the length i like it by 4:13 :rotfl: they have stopped taking card tho since i last went and only just had enough cash on me for that and my bus home. I would have felt very silly uf she cut my hair and i didnt have enough on me to pay :rotfl: waiting for my bus home now. No WEMs for me and no post DH says
