Credit rating

Hi, i have got a really bad credit rating due to the actions of my ex husband. I want to start improving it and i have tried to apply for credit cards but have been turned down. I have been accepted for a catalogue and wondered if this would help to bring my credit rating up. I would be really grateful if someone could help. Deb

  • Hi Deb,

I too am on the road to repairing my credit report.

I'm with https://www.checkmyfile.co.uk and the tools available are good.
It shows accounts that you have and it goes into alot of detail.
It shows you who your associated with and can dispute anyone you don't want linking with.
They have a section that recommends credit cards for you also.

    Give it a whirl chick.

Why would anyone use a company like checkmyfile when no lender would use it.
