And that we finally have a board where us addicted compers can chat and help each other to our hearts content without fear of starting a thread in the wrong place or getting told off for bumping, This is what I had posted earlier on the LIVE thread, where we were asked for all our input into what we wanted this board to become,

Mamzie, you said it for me too. I wanted this board to be more of a virtually anything goes - as long as it's not something that clearly fits elsewhere. So obviously we'd still want competitions posted on the main board, IWIWIW posted in that board. The only issue is that the name (what daft bird came up with that ) attracts people to post for general financial advice as they access the website for that. So I think comping should be in the title, but we should welcome on-topic and off-topic posts from compers.

The best of all worlds is if folk can choose whether to post on this new board, or in the compers Inn. It doesn't really matter if there is a little overlap, in my humbles.

How about "Compers Chat Corner" with the text something like "For questions and chat from compers"?

When you have time, could we get some text to describe our fantastic new board please. Hopefully something welcoming and enccouraging to members, possibly along the lines of....

I'm really new to comping but am loving it:). I know this is probably a silly question, but is there a link on MSE which has a list of competitions to enter, I've looked but can't find one!

it was when blu & mamzie asked the team if we could have a
chat area where we could all ask questions/chat/discuss etc
as before we only had a thread called discussions that didn't
work for what we wanted, if you read through the thread
that's how the CCC came about,
