working tax credits

I am disabled on high rate mobility but mangage to work 15 hours a week my husband works 40 hours a week a work colleagues says i could be entitled to working tax credits but i say not can anyone just settle an argument

I wouldn't of thought so if its just the 2 if you......but put your figures into the entitledto.com website and see...you never know!0

As your husband is working at least 40 hours, you would qualify but the amount you would get depends on your income. You need to work at least 16 hours to get the disability element, and it is the disabled person who must be working the 16 hours, so you wouldn't qualify for that part of it only the basic and 30 hr elements.
