Motability problem

Hi all.

My HRM DLA was stopped on renewal in June. My motability car was taken back a couple of weeks later. Following a reconsideration, it's been reinstated.

I've just had a letter today saying that it's going to be paid to motability as I entered into an agreement with them.

Do I have to keep paying for a car I don't have? Because (obviously) I need the money to pay to get around.

And does it mean I can't get another car on the scheme straight away?
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Presumably you will have to take out a new contract. Phone or email Motability for confirmation.

I would contact motability themselves.. I am assuming if your car has gone, then the original lease has been cancelled... Give them a call asap, http://www.motability.co.uk/main.cfm?Type=CU
Please note, Motability does not decide who receives the DLA or WPMS. The Department for Work and Pensions decides who receives the allowance. If you lose the allowance during your lease, we will make arrangements for the return of the car. However, you will only pay the cost of the lease until the car is returned, not for the remaining length of the lease. If you paid an Advance Payment, this will be refunded to you on a pro rata basis.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Thanks. I can't phone them but I've emailed. Hopefully they wont take to long to reply.
