APEAL against over payed tax credits

She might not be spending the money I had a similar problem but they kept telling me it was correct. I have had no money from them for nearly four years now and they still cant get it right they are still taking money - my case is with the adjudicator, even Dawn Primorola has admitted the error is all their fault - If they got their act together and did their job as they should these problems would not be happening. This credit system has put more people into a debt situation than it has actually helped!0

I accept what Dazzer is saying but at the time we were wollowing in debt. Now the situation has changed and I have saved some.0

Sorry, got interrupted earlier. Yes I spent the money then because there was only me working and OH DLA doesn't go far. I repeatedly asked them to alter our notices to avoid the situation I am in now. I have asked how much I was overpaid but they don't know. They only have end of year figures not separate components. The whole situation is ridiculous!0

Whatever the reasons for spending the money don't matter if you knew the amount was wrong. You should have put it by and NOT spent it as it was not yours to spend and you knew that at the time and could have easily done this. There is no option but to make arrangements to pay it back. You can negotiate a reasonable rate if it is causing you hardship.0
