Bus Lane PCN

Hi

We have received a PCN for allegedly being in a bus lane. However, none of the photographs indicate that it is a bus lane, there is a bus stop signed adequately, but, the lane is not red as is usual.

Going to appeal on this basis as nothing to lose, but what are the chances of success based on the picture evidence?

Can you just confirm that this is a council ticket first please
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

I would suggest putting this in the council parking section at www.pepipoo.com as well. There are some clued up people there who will be able to assist you. Is there video of the alleged contravention?

OP, as Trebor says, you need to get on to pepipoo. And save the envelope that the PCN came in.

Well, insomuch as there is a clip but when I tried to play it, nothing plays. I did think that the video clip might be more informative, but not sure now.

    Why save the envelope?

You should be able to make arrangements to view the recording they have. I tell the council that the link they have provided doesn't appear to be working.

Just in case it contains any information that may be helpful, such as a postmark.

Some councils were known to put a service date on the PCN, but not actually post out the PCN until the day after, rendering it invalid.

I do appreciate that the envelopes do not often contain a postmark.
