ESA Appeal...

What you want to achieve seems to be support group and less frequent assessment and preferably fewer or no face to face medicals. The logical thing to do to achieve that is not to try to fight a battle of the past that will achieve little even in the unlikely event it succeeds.... but to absolutely focus on this reassessment.. to get supporting evidence in ASAP (ideally with the ESA50 that I just hope hasn't been sabotaged by a good samaritan with cognitive defect) to reduce the chances of being called for medical and increase the chances of Support Group decision. I'll be interested to see how all this plays out... I really hope they know what they're doing.
Thanks frog...you are as great as ever..
I'm considering either
1. Shutting the claim entirely and claiming I.S but worried about impact on new DLA claim which is being prepared currently, will lose £112 pm
2. Go to the medicals without arguing and hope they keep me in the WRAG, keep kids off school and pay for taxi each time..
3. Fight all the way submit everything, attend just one medical which takes me to the next EA50 in 6 months time then if still have hassle claim I.S
My doctor is fantastic, but by the time I've got evidence from Physio, Surgeon/registrar, health visitor, and docs it will be a month at least..
Then I may have to pay for some of this evidence, a docs letter is £15..
The irony is also I've just been referred to MIND as my condition will not get better, it may not worsen but I'm stuck with it, my mental health is bad currently..
I'm now thinking going back to the beginning may help, claim I.S for 6 months, speak to relevant people obtain support then submit everything in a new claim..
I'm undecided though...I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0 -
Just had the appeal acknowledged in writing, they say it will go for reconsideration and if no change then appeal..
Also just had DLA refused on the basis of ESA decision, will be appealling that now too...
DLA only took 4 days to reach a decision, not sure what went wrong, as cab did the paperwork the cab worker knew my daughter and my support worker says I have been compromised, as I was reluctant to give lots details about family so it didn't get back to other people in authority..I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0
