Will this devalue my home?

We are thinking of doing similar by knocking thru kitchen and dining room. We also have a decent size living room so will go from 3 rec rooms to 2 plus existing conservatory on back of DR. DR is currently quite dark due to conservatory which is why we are thinking of knocking thru. Thinking of replacing conservatory with extension creating one long room. This is a 4 bed family house so thinking is that open plan will work better, however not sure if reducing number of rec rooms will devalue? Any thoughts?0

generally speaking, these days peeps want more rooms, not less.
the fad for open plan living in the seventies, and knocking walls down etc has gone.
ask your local estate agents, they will know what the local area buyers require/want.Get some gorm.0
