Don't get me started on the AA. They actually phoned up my existing insurer one day for no apparent reason and told them I wanted to cancel.
I'm not quite sure why because they then wrote to me to say they wouldn't insure me anyway!0 -
My renewal a few years back came through reduced by a whopping £50 (this was before premiums started going up every year to reward you for your good driving).
I rang them, haggled, repeated daily and eventually they dropped it 50%. Result! Of course that would be the year I had a 'mans' accident to punish me for it!0
