E Bay advise

To cut a long story short I purchased a new camera on my e bay account for my daughter who purchased it as a surprise for her boyfriends birthday. It came from Hong Kong (Yes I know, we did try and put her off but a friend had bought the same camera from the same seller with no problems!).It stopped working properly 2 months after purchase so I contacted the sellar and as his terms and conditions returned it. They accepted delivery on the 19th of April.Since then I have several e mails saying it was with Canon in Hong Kong being looked at.They also sent me an e-mail saying the way they have dealt with this was unacceptable and the person initially dealing with it no longer works for them.I contacted e-bay who say basically that it is not there problem. My last 2 e mails to them have not been returned and my last contact from them was over three weeks ago. Was hoping someone had some advice or should I just put it down to experience!

very little you can do with a Honk Kong seller in this situation
If you bought with a credit card then its possible you could do a charge back0
