Non Fault Non Claim Accident - Advice

A year ago in my last car I had a crash. The accident left the car with cosmetic damage and the car was not a write off. Subsequently neither party claimed as would affect premiums more than worth the reward. Also both parties agreed it was non fault.
I informed my insurer as good practice to cover myself in case of a claim by the other party.
I was told by the insurance company that this would not affect my insurance premiums. When I look for new insurance and include or exclude the accident it changes my premium by up to £150.
Any advice would be appreciated?

You were fortunate to be with a company who didnt up your premiums to be honest. Most companies do nowadays. Wrong, but you cant do anything about it.
All you can do if either stay with the company you are with or find one that doesnt.
Try CIS (coop) or Aegis. Ive had 2 and my premiums werent affected.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
It would also depend what ncd you had, if you have full ncd, then you might notice an increase, if you did'nt have full ncd then any possible increase may be reduced by the higher ncd. if a accident is reported then it will affect your premiums with the majority (if not all) of insurance companies.

Don't be tempted not to include it! It will be on the database and you will be found out.
