I've had that problem for a week, its nut breaking. So I have binned it and downloaded Google Chrome. Every problem I had went away.

Let me know how you get on.

I know literally nothing about computers, but it has worked well for me. and its speeded my computer up too.

If you don't need Internet Explorer, uninstall it.

Your last line tells all !, you cannot uninstall Internet Explorer as such, it is part of the operating system, so please do not tell people to do that, as in trying, they could render their installation inoperative.

Can anyone help with my problem.

Each time my computer is left for a few hours, it seems to freeze and I have to turn the power button off and then on again and then it boots up quite happily. Any ideas anyone please.

  • Could I suggest to all contributors that they are more specific in their initial question. This one for example could be passed over when scanning because the topic is not detailed enough.
