Deals that aren’t actually deals

Tesco Diced Lamb 300g is on price drop. The catch is it's being dropped from it's highest price of the year £4.00 to £3.00 and it's average price over the past year is £2.94. Technically it's a price drop to 2% more than it's average price. >:/0

It always makes me laugh when you see the 'half price' offers on strawberries. They'll be 'half price' at £2.99 a punnet - has anyone ever seriously paid £5.98 for a punnet of strawberries!0

a pack of 4 or 5 chicken breasts marked at half price at £4.49. Who pays £9 on 4 chicken breasts?0

Those deals are really not cool. But there's no other place to buy groceries and get low deals on items. I think Tesco or Asda sells the cheapest items so far... but then again, the deals that they are giving out are not actually deals. Just sad.0

Tilda Pure Basmati Rice 500g. On offer at Sainsbury's from £2.61 to £2.11. They say save 50p but it's at 2p more than it's average price all year. Also currently cheaper in Asda ( £1.80) and actually the cheapest in Waitrose ( £1.70).0
