Tesco Diced Lamb 300g is on price drop. The catch is it's being dropped from it's highest price of the year £4.00 to £3.00 and it's average price over the past year is £2.94. Technically it's a price drop to 2% more than it's average price. >:/

It always makes me laugh when you see the 'half price' offers on strawberries. They'll be 'half price' at £2.99 a punnet - has anyone ever seriously paid £5.98 for a punnet of strawberries!

a pack of 4 or 5 chicken breasts marked at half price at £4.49. Who pays £9 on 4 chicken breasts?

That does sound ridiculous. What brand and what store did you see this in?

Mr T I think and it was own brand.
  • Those deals are really not cool. But there's no other place to buy groceries and get low deals on items. I think Tesco or Asda sells the cheapest items so far... but then again, the deals that they are giving out are not actually deals. Just sad.
  • Tilda Pure Basmati Rice 500g. On offer at Sainsbury's from £2.61 to £2.11. They say save 50p but it's at 2p more than it's average price all year. Also currently cheaper in Asda ( £1.80) and actually the cheapest in Waitrose ( £1.70).
