Another thing with Lis Earle is that if you buy on qvc you get a 30 day trial, if you don't like it you send it back!
Risk free way of trying it!
I love Liz Earle but money is tight so can't afford it at the moment!
Can't wait to get a bit more flush and will be back using it.
Might try the SuperDrug version whilst I wait!0 -
I'm yet another Liz Earle fan. Not much agrees with the skin on my face, I have mild rosacea, and it's great for that. I may try the Superdrug one though as I've just peeked at the LE site and the try me kits are stupidly expensive now. I tend to buy a kit once or twice a year when on special offer at around £40. But I do share my cleanse and polish with my teenage son0

If You can use skincare,It will help to prevent fine lines and improve the appearance of your skin over time.It will best for you.

I hope it helps.0 -
I am a LE fan too (have a stash of them under my sink). LE also does facials available in London, Guildford or Leeds if you find their products work for you.
I also like Estee Lauders advance night repair. It has saved me enough times.
Good luck!0 -
Olive oil applied morning and night and wiped off with a damp hot muslin cloth. I've been doing this for the last couple of years and have found my skin is much calmer and needs no extra moisturising. There is lots of info on the web about oil cleansing. It doesn't even seem to matter much what oil you use - currently I am using hempseed oil which is out if date for eating mixed with castor oil that I had from when I used to do castor oil packs. (The only issue is with the hempseed oil is that my OH says I smell vaguely like a cricket bat! Other people just say it smells 'nice')0

May I suggest you take a look at Caroline Hirons blog Beauty mouth?
She is a skincare professional and has lots of great advice include some cheat sheets for acne/spots, sensitive skin etc.
It may help you decide what your skin needs. Its certainly helped me understand some of the mechanics behind skincare and what to avoid, especially as some skincare is costly and you don't want to be wasting your money.
I know there have been alot of votes for Liz Earle, but it can cause reactions in people with v sensitive skin due to the ingredients (as some essential oils can cause reactions). But like someone on here suggested, buy any products you choose to try through QVC as you can send them back!
Lots of brands to try for sensitive skin - Balance Me, Pai, Trilogy, La Roche-Posey, Avene, Etat Pur, Suti, Oskia.
Oil or Balm cleansers are actually good for oily skin as stop your skin producing more oil to combat dryness. Avoid any foaming cleansers as full of nasties. Maybe look at taking a cod liver oil supplement as well as this can be beneficial for your skin.
Good luck with your search... it can be a long road to finding the right products as no doubt many on here with be familar with!0 -
Another vote for Caroline Hirons blog, her advice and reviews are great.
I started using Oskia perfect cleanser after reading her review. At £32.50 it isn't cheap but a little goes a long way. Its the only cleanser that I have found that doesn't irritate my skin!0 -
Another vote for Caroline Hirons. She also advocates face flannels over muslin cloths, I have a shedload of each, the flannels can be bought really cheaply from New Look, supermarkets, shops that sell bed linen etc. I use 1 per day then sling them into the wash basket and wash a whole bunch of them with towels on hottish wash. I also think be careful not to exfoliate too harshly or too often, same with Clarisonic, love mine, but only 2 or 3 times a week. Essential oils can be lovely, but lots of people have reactions to them, myself included:eek:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0
