Have you compared your usage through a few of the comparison sites?
A few posters have changed to edf blue etc. Suited them
I changed to npower online november 2013. Suited me.

I have just switched from British Gas essentials to edf with £30 cash back via Moneysupermarket.com Fixed rate until April 2014 was a big incentive for me.
