Paypal, how do I get my $1.95 back?!

I recently had to do a security check thing where Paypal made a $1.95 deduction from my card and I had to tell them the 4 digit number. They they said they would give this $1.95 back because they are nice when you purchase something.

Well I have my $1.95 back but how do I spend it? I can't withdraw it because the minimum is $10. Why couldn't they have given me the equivalent pound sterling back? I know it's only 90ish pence, but its annoying me being there.

the next time you buy something and pay with Paypal, that amount will be deducted from your total to pay.

I recall that if the 1.95 is in USD and not GBP you have to buy something in USD to get it back. If you buy stuff in GBP with Paypal, it doesn't pick up the odd USD amount.

at the top of your paypal over view page, where it says Paypal Account Balance there is a clickable bit that says manage currency, click that and it takes you to the manage currency page, at the bottom of that page it says convert , you need to select the currency you want to convert then click convert then you should have an option to change it to the currency you want.

I don't think you can actually get it back unless you spend it or untill you have more funds in your account

Thank you. That's exactly what I was after. I couldn't find anything to convert the money to pounds before.
