Hi guys,
Just a quick one.
Myself and the missus bought a car on finance in back in February but because I had a poor credit rating at the time, we did the finance in her name. (I pay for it monthly so it is essentially my car)
Now my car insurance is up for renewal and a potential insurer (broker) gave me a fantastic price but on the basis that I am the registered keeper.
I have been told that I cannot become the registered keeper because the finance is in my girlfriends name and this would cause a conflict of interest on the part of the finance company who would be informed of the change and invalidate the finance.
Is any of the above true????

Contact the company 1st. They may do random checks assume she sold the car to your which belongs to them. And she gets a letter asking for the full and final settlement of all outstanding money.
