Last time I bought some I bought off ebay but as I'm a small time seller these bags have lasted me years! Are there any high street shops anyone would suggest or any ebay shops? Thanks!

You can buy quite small quantities on ebay and in packs of mixed sizes- I think for the costs it is worth buying in bulk rather than pay 10 times as much on the High Street
My local 99p shop is for instance doing 3 postal bags , but that same size on ebay in lots of 100 are less than 9p a bagI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yes - definitely eBay. I bought a stash of larger jiffy bags for £7.6-something back in June and actually they seem to be going down quickly. One large sale helped me break even on them, so I was in profit very quickly."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Another vote for eBay. Although remember that mailing bags can go brittle and become unuseable eventually so go with a sensible quantity, and pick your seller carefully. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

Thanks just trying to buy some from eBay but PayPal is down. I even checked on https://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ as I remembered that website exists. Thought I'd link it as it's v useful0

Poundland sell them in different sizeswhich are great- similar to 99p shop. I also save any potentially useful packaging.0

Can anybody recommend a good bubble wrap supplier? I always buy it in big rolls from ebay, but I'm tired of getting the cheap rubbish when I'm paying a decent price!:j30/7/10:j

always use ebay envelopemaster
trouble is can never get really cheap rolls.
never had a bad batch off bubblewrap yet ..but always buy stuff with jiffy in title.
As for jiff envelopes i buy in bulk 1000-2000 per size. i have never bought paper envelopes in about 4 years. As i bought 10,000 4 years ago.
Unable to get cheap plastic mail bags anywere.
To the original OP depend on you piece price on jiffy envelopes. i like to stay at 4p-10p if i can.
depends on size...think the pound shop sells them 5 for a £1. Our local shop sells the same envelopes for 50p each.
Viking can be round about 15p if you get them on offer depending on size.0 -

I'm just waiting for a dlelivery from a couple of suppliers (I thought I'd try out 2) I'll let you know what it is like when it arrives.
I got some awful stuff time before last, all flat and the bubbles popped as soon as you touched them- so need a new supplier myselfI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
