Barclaycard Credit

Hi,
I'm £200 in credit with my Barclaycard CC, I've asked them if they will transfer it back to the account I used to pay off the debt that I had on the card and they've said they cannot do that!! :(:(

I've asked them to quantify this statement as I think this is out of order!

Has anybody else heard of this and successfully got your own money back?

Thanks

Just fill up with petrol three times and you'll be sorted.

(or use it or other day to day purchases that you would have made anyway).

How did the account end up in credit?

Why not just use the card to pay for your purchases until the £200 is used up? They won't transfer a positive balance as this could be seen as a form of money laundering.

They won't transfer it to an account, however they can/will send you a cheque for the £200, but it's far easier if you use the card regularly just to spend it off.
