Travelodge car park space

Next Friday taking my nephew on a day out to Drayton Manor, and thinking of staying in a hotel overnight - Travel Lodge as it's going to be a long day, Anyway had a look and what worries me most is these:

"Travelodge car park has 62 free of charge spaces, available on a first-come first-served basis."

"Travelodge has free of charge car parking, available on a first-come, first-served basis."

The second one doesn't state how many spaces there are, but what worries is what if the car park is full? I have never done this before.

The prices are £31 and £29 - breakfast not included for either, if anyone knows any cheaper or deals can let me know also.

It's unusual for any hotel to state how many car park spaces they have, why not give them a ring to see if the car par gets very full at the time you are going..

£29/32 is a brilliant deal, look for somewhere close to eat, food at TL is quite expensive. There is often a wetherspoons or somewhere like that handy.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

When I have stayed at Travelodges never had any problems parking but some can get a bit busy at times, it depends on what time you get there, they tend to get most full mid evening as working people and long haul guests arrive or people come to use whatever food place is onsite, earlier on its fine. A lot of these places are used as stopovers for sales people or installers and so on. Would thought not many would stay Friday night as they would be off home for the weekend.

We stay in TLs quite a lot and have never struggled to find a parking space so I wouldn't worry.

Don't eat anything other than breakfast in the TL as they can be appalling!

We had an evening meal once and it was utter crap so we didn't again for years.

Then, last year we decided to try again (different hotel and convinced ourselves the first was a one off) and it was worse than the first one - it was a comedy of errors and we received a full refund in the end - it must have been bad for me to request a refund as I'm pretty easy going!

I will NEVER eat an evening meal in a TL again. Breakfast is ok but a better deal if you have kids as they eat free.
