Ladder Hire

Hiya
I contacted HSS Hire shop to get a quote for ladder hire to reach my guttering, they quoted £18 odd + VAT. I dont drive so need delivery but they charge £20 each way for that even though we only live approx 2 miles (if that) away.
I was wondering if there is anywhere else I can look at for hiring ladders?
Thanks!

I can't help on hire but do you have a neighbour or local friend with suitable ladders who would lend them to you?
For the over £60 hire price you could maybe employ a local handyman to do the work for you.
Be very careful using ladders.0 -
No we dont have anyone who has any. I cant afford the £60+ anyway. I did get a quote last week of £30 but cant get hold of the person to sort a time and date. Main problem need fixing is end is overflowing and it is because for some reason even though we have lived her for over 7 years within the past few weeks the end has dipped but the guy who came to look said it cant be lifted anymore so the next bit along needs to be lifted slightly. And they were going to fix a dripping joint and also clean the back gutter. All the other companies want call out fees etc. We cant get it all replaced (guttering and fascias) possibly end of next year but I am panicking that the house walls inside may get damp before then, then what sort of damage and money will that cause?!!
