balance tranfer

can i tranfer 5k off my credits card into my bank account? need to buy a car asap.. and i dont have my pin for my credit card. they wont take it any other way.. so rather than waiting 7 days for a pin for the card caan i tranfer it into my bank and use my bank card?
i bank with teh same company as the credit card company.. thanks

    if your particular (unnamed ) credit card allows BT to a bank a/c then yes, if it doesn't then no.

    I don't think that Lloyds allows super balance transfers. These are typically offered by cards that are linked to MBNA and are usually new offers or offers to existing customers.

    Why do you need to spend £5k on a car and pay with a credit card? Plenty of good quality second hand cars available for a lot less than that, that you could save up for.
  • I think LTSB would class this as a cash advance (assuming they even allowed it) and charge the associated interest... I would wait for them to send you your new pin it will save you a lot of money and hassle.
