I had a mix up on our insurance and decided to cancel within the 14 days.
I had to pay £20 for the privilege - like bank charges, is this allowed?

Administration costs, in a nutshell yes. But it probably falls under the same category as the bank charges, in that we'll only be allowed to claim for fair costs.0
