Home Insurance via Quidco

Last year I used Quidco and purchased my home insurance via Quidco to get cash back.

Is there anything in the system that prevents me from renewing via Quidco again to get cashback this year please? Has anyone tired this and it worked?

Hi, the rules specifically say that cashback is not available to existing customers.

It would not be quidco that blocks this but the fact it is a renewal may be picked up by the insurer or their affiliate network.

    It's a risk you take , personally I wouldn't risk it.

    Don't renew.

Lapse your policy from its expiry date.

Then buy a brand new one via quidco.

My last one was with Aviva and they are doing a good cashback deal at the moment. Am I best of waiting till my current one lapses and then getting a new quote and potentially buying one again via Aviva (if the price and terms are good)?
