What are the meals like on Thomsonfly?

Hello!

I'm flying with Thomsonfly from Bham to Bodrum in Turkey. the flight is around4hours in length.

Does anyone know what kind of meals they offer and how many there are on the flight?

On a four hour flight you will get one meal.

Last time we flew with Thomson food was as described by previous posters. Also Thomas Cook (and if you order a veggie meal they probably wont have a note of it  ). The only meals we could describe as anything remotely like reasonable have been on First Choice but those we had in February to Cyprus had gone downhill since last year, and the current brochure now has them at £15  , a rise of £3 since last time (that's for two meals - outward and return).

Do as suggested, once through passport control buy butties from one of the shops in the departure lounge. (You can't take them through with you now with the new security regs.)

What food depends on what time of day.

Planes are usually run pretty full, its a while since I've been on a less than fairly full plane.

Yes its not great, but it costs £5 or £6 each way & I think its worth that for the distraction in the 4 hours flight & a nice hot tea/coffee.
It passes some time in the middle of the flight.
  • Just seen this on the Thomson website, but I'm sceptical and I don't know if it will improve things nor have I ever heard of him.

From 1st May 2007, all Thomsonfly in-flight meal recipes will be created by Italian chef and restaurateur, Aldo Zilli.

Yeah this Aldo Zilli thing has caught my eye.

Like a previous poster said it does break up the journey abit.

Paid £6 each way for the meals. You don't get much for £6 in airports these days unless you wanna eat chocolate the whole flight.
