Black horse PPI

Recieved a letter from FOS to advise that Black horse have accepted my complaint and will be in contact with an offer of good will.

So do i call Black Horse to find out what they are offering as by going by the letter from FOS i have 2 weeks to come back to them to make sure i am happy?

Black Horse wouldn't discuss figures over the phone with me, had to wait for offer letter which they had sat on for 3 weeks, but it got sent out the day I called them.

Just read over the letter and I have to wait 2 week before i get the offer from Black Horse, so 3 weeks seems about right.

JUst need to wait to see what they are going to offer, hopefully the full payment .

Hi, I had the same letter from FOS regarding a goodwill offer from Black Horse. I received the letter from FOS on 26 July. I left it two weeks plus before contacting Black Horse on 16 August. They said they had recieved conformation from FOS on 14 August, so it had taken approximately a week for them to recieve confirmation from FOS after the 14 days were up. I was told they then have 28 days to get back to me with an offer, which contradicted the FOS letter which warned up to 10 weeks.
Could I ask, Cityboydal, was your offer in line with what you thought you should get, ie following the FOS guidelines? I m worried they will try to pull the wool over my eyes again.

How do i know what my total payment for the PPI was I lost the original letter, however have been making a single payment and currently just paying the loan off.
Will they tell me over the phone?

Allusofhere, sorry mine didn't go to FOS. I had a call from BH asking questions and said would be finishing the file that day and send letter, after 2 and a bit weeks I called and they hadn't sent out the offer. It went out that day.

I was offered full premiums plus stat 8%(less 20%), not sure if this helps re GWG though

Any joy with your letter from Black horse as yet i am in the exact same boat as you got my letter from FOS on the 13th of August?
