First time to Duinrell via Stena line any tips?

As the title says it's our first time to Duinrell at the end of the month any was wondering if anyone had been before and had any tips.
We are going for a week with the Sun offer and Eurocamp and are staying in a Horizon 3 bed midi + decking.
We will be going via Stena harwich - hook
We will only be driving in daylight do we still need headlight converters?
Can we take our own golf club and balls so we don't have pay to hire them?
What is the bedding like and the accommodation?
Is there somewhere comfy to sit on the Stena line which we can use as a base and have our lunch and maybe plug our dvd player into. (we don't want to pay for lounge access) and what can a 5 & 7 year old do on board.
Any other info and tips would be really welcome.

Get to the pool at the start of the day, or in the evening- but not at weekends. It'll be quieter. You can see in through the side- walk round to the right, by the stream, before deciding whether to pay to get in. The pool really is the draw.
Rides should be pretty quiet at that time of year.
There's a good value middle sized supermarket in town- an easy ten min, mostly pedestrianised stroll from the park (depending where on the park you are, it can take you longer than that to cross it) It's called c1000 (I think) and the reps can give you directions. There's even a free tea/coffee hot choc machine (just past the veg)- and cup holders in the trollies. Take your own bags.
Unless you've hired linen, bedding will be just pillows and blankets. Eurocamp accommodation is usually of a pretty good standard.
Keep some 50c coins handy- theres a boat thing which catapults you onto the lake that takes them. Kids love it.
Bumper "frogs"- unlike the sedate "dodgems" we suffer with these days, the ride ops actually jump in the cars and encourage you to bump. Far more fun, but can come as a shock!
Can't really help with the rest- have fun!Only dead fish go with the flow...0 -
Don't bother with headlight converters. Nobody on the Continent cares.
Re. your crossing with Stena: comfort on board very much depends on how busy your particular crossing is. If it's not too full, you'll have no issues. If it's really busy (check current crossing prices as compared to other days / times, this will give you some sort of indication), you may want to arrive early for check-in so that you are among the first to board; that way, you'll get some choice over where to sit. From the vehicle deck, head straight to deck 9.
You may want to consider taking your own drinks on board with you. The day crossing is 6 1/2 hours and drinks for four will add up.
Stena usually have some sort of entertainment for kids (a magician normally), but this is only for an hour or so. Take some books, games, or whatever the kids enjoy.

Been to Duinrell 4 times now via Sun,last time was placed near entance, maybe email eurocamp and ask not to be placed near entrance if possible,as all night we had the church bells in town ringing on hour! and cause it so quiet was rather a pain!
Also theres an aldi left out of camp, right at lights and then think its second left. Then also if from aldi(as if coming out of door) you go left then right at t-junction you will find a jumbo supermarket better stocked and cheaper than the c1000 i think.
I wrote a review on trip advisor with details of areas to vist,so have many others.
Can't say about Stena,as i always cross to Dunkerque and drive as cheaper and would be so bored so long on ferry!;)0 -
