Travel insurance for working abroad

Hello
My brother is moving to NZ next week for two years to work (lucky thing!), and I'm just wondering whether he needs to take out travel insurance?

One-Way Travel Insurance may be an option to cover any issues about the trip out there. But as he will be there for 2 years, I think he should look into getting some Insurances while in NZ. Some form of medical cover. Cover for his possessions. The people employing him, may be able to provide details, as perhaps they offer some medical Insurance.
I don't think normal Travel Insurance is an option, because of the length of time that he is to be in NZ. It would be pretty expensive and would he want to be air ambulanced all the way back to the UK, if he was seriously injured or ill ? Also perhaps the employers medical cover or any that he arranges, will cover that if it is an option, so he can be with family/friends in that type of situation.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
