Otels.com

Quite annoyed at Otels.com.

Tried to book a hotel last night, for San Francisco next year, found the one I wanted , and then found that using a facebook promotion with Otels.com I could get the room I wanted for almost £100 cheaper than their competitors. Now this morning I have received an email saying my booking was cancelled as they had no availability. Fair enough in a sense, although annoyed because my card was charged and I now need to wait for a refund. The biggest annoyance though comes from the fact that they are still advertising the room at the same price. Just feel cheated as I await my refund

Report them at asa.org.uk - if the room is not available in reasonable availability at the price advertised, they'll get a severe frowning at at least.

Websites aren't instantly updated with the latest availablility status when a room/flight is booked. It takes time for human beings to input the newest data.
