They provide comprehensive growing instructions and have some heritage varieties.

Just to add to the confusion, I like D T Brown and Mr F0ther8ills (I've not checked but I think they may be free P&P; if you want loads/large packs, go to moles seeds)

With 3 rubbish summers on the trot, I'm going for good old reliable favourites next year, rather than the catalogues with new varieties and fluffed up prices.

Now where can I get cheap slug pellets?

I've been to Plant World, it's well worth a visit and their website has lots of unusual seeds.

Can't recommend any veg seed suppliers as all my veg are grown in aisle 3 at Tesco, but this year after being inspired by the Olympic Park I've decided to sow wild flower seeds - mine came from an Ebay seller called Combley Plants - can't do links but Google finds them.

Have also got free seeds this year from some National Trust Properties (ahem, when they are giving them away, I am not pinching them!)
