Thank you very much again for all your wonderful advice guys. I will see my jobcentre advisor in 2 days and also have booked appointments to see my psychiatrist and i plan to see my union rep too, so i'll definately keep you up-to-date with what advice i get.

@ hbgirl - i have had a problem with the charity that helped me find work. The guy whom helped me was very aggressive over the phone when i rang them in the morning. He was upset that after getting the job i didn't keep in touch and that i didn't take his advice of using Access-to-Work, so he closed my file. I explained that i was trying to concentrate on doing my job and because i was worried that people will look and wonder if they saw access to work, which won't help with my paranoia.

I was very upset and since my wife had heard him shout, she rang the charity and gave them a mouthful.

You are not obliged to disclose your mental health status at a job interview, apparently you do not even have to disclose your family situation...

They cannot hold this against you at all, talk honestly tell your employer you would be willing to try anything to recover and how much you do value your job, it may get him on side...
You never know, he may have had mental health problems himself...

Thanks Elle, your right. Even though i haven't been clear with the employer, i think i best be honest...if they let me go on the basis of ill-health, then i guess at least i know i've tried.
