Buying lunch at work can cost as much again as the weekly grocery shop(well thats how much my hubby can spend anyway)so save money here by taking leftovers to work. The weather is still cold enough to get away with a tub of bolognese or curry leftover from dinner the day before.Try 2 minute noodles(8p a pack) or just make your own sandwiches and take refilled bottles of water or juice."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

I only spend £45 a month on shopping for 3 people so I'd love to be able to spend what you have AND have a PS3 to go with it.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

I started a thread about it months ago which had a shopping list and recipes on it. The first 4 pages are OK but the rest of it is slagging me off. I can't find it now though.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
I am really new to this so unfortunately I missed black saturns original thread on shopping.I do remember seeing the name mentioned though when I was looking for recipes and tips on shopping for food.I noticed that some of the people who provide lots of recipe and menu advice thank black-saturn for their knowledge.I will keep an eye out for new posts and check out the old ones for tips.Well done black-saturn."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

Some of the kidney beans are barley any more expensive than baked beans. My last lot from tesco were 18p per tin and baked beans 17p per tin. Half a tin of sauce in those so the kidney beans work out cheaper. Soak the dried ones overnight to save even more money but you must boil them rapidly for 10 mins before using them in your cooking.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0
