Question about bereavement payment

Hi all,
I had a question regarding bereavement payment. My husband unfortunately passed away over 1 month ago. We were separated (although not formally) and the Job centre is aware of this. However, he did provide financial support to me and his loss will make things very difficult for me and my children.
As we were married am i still able to claim the bereavement payment or not as we were separated?

Who can’t claim
You can't get Bereavement Payment if any of the following apply:
you were divorced from your late husband or wife or the civil partnership had dissolved at the time of the civil partner's death
you're living with another person as husband, wife or civil partner
you're in prison0 -

When my sisters ex-husband died, as they separated NOT divorced, she got the one-off Bereavement Payment AND gets a Widowed Parent Allowance until her daughter turns 18 or 19.
The Bereavement Payment ISNT taxable, but the Parent Allowance is.0
