MSE states that the freeholders costs in obtaining advice both legal and from the Valuation surveyor to negotiate the price are excluded from the costs borne by the leaseholder.
The leaseadvice.org site states "both your own and the landlord's "reasonable" legal and valuation costs, except any costs which are incurred in connection with proceedings before a LVT. "
This would imply that reasonable cost "upto the door" of the LVT would be included in the costs met by the applicant
