Royal Mail Standard Parcels will do, unless very expensive. For 2.5kg this would be £7.70
Includes insurance upto 100 times the price of a standard first class stamp (wierd isn't it!!), ie £32.00
Alternative would be 1st Class Recorded for about £10.35 or Parcelfroce48 for about £14ish.
All available at your Pst Office.
You could get a cheaper service by going to a parcel carrier office, but that's usually more trouble than it's worth.
Hopefully you've set your delivery charge on eBay high enough to cover it????

Totally agree.
Also the parcel can be tracked, usefull in case anything goes wrong, where with standard parcel you have no cover from Paypal should anything go wrong.0 -

Would be interested in using this however bit worried when it says1 collection attempt, 1 delivery attempt, only.
Further collection/delivery attempts will result in additional charges. What happens if the recipient is out when they deliver??

That bothered me too but one the one occasion that I had to phone them I quieried this and was told that DHL will leave a card to re-arrange a new delivery.
I'm not sure why they don't say this in the listing though. I haven't had a buyer that hasn't been home to try it out so I can't say that they really do leave a card, I'm going on what they tell me rather than what I actually know.0 -
Always worth getting a quote from Pharos International...

I had a buyer who was out on multiple delivery attempts, but they got it eventually (when they were in) and there were no extra costs at all. You can also collect the parcel from local depot if you miss delivery.0
