posting phone abroad?

Just a quick one for you, I have.my old HTC phone on eBay at the moment and have been asked whether I could post the phone to the Ukraine. Buyer has kindlycontacted me before bidding to see, they said they will pay via PayPal if they win straight away and have said that if I send it insured through royal mail international signed for then it will be approx £12 postage

Now what I want to know is - if the buyer pulls a fast one - will I be covered? I don't want to be out of pocket if they claim they never received it

Thanks x

Depends on the sale price, as you won't be covered via paypal and may not be by RM.

    well what are you asking?
I don't know the value of your phone. If you are happy with that cover then its all good.
you can cover up to £2500 within the UK

Special delivery in the Uk can have enhanced insurance up to quite dizzy heights, no airmail service for a phone can be insured for more than £46 and no RM service will guarantee you tracking overseas

I think we mention phones in the postage sticky thread, might be worth a look.
