Cat's Protection offering FREE neutering - London, Peterborough & Stoke-on-Trent

To qualify, owners will need to be on a low income or state benefit and be able to provide proof of this, as well as of their identity, when they attend the vet’s surgery.
The offer is also available for long-term stray cats which you have been feeding and where extensive efforts have been made to find an owner – such as to have placed a temporary collar (paper or thin card) round the cat’s neck for at least two weeks, with a message asking them to contact you, before the cat can be neutered.

There are other campaigns available offering low cost neutering for £5 or £10 in selected areas of Northern Ireland, Glasgow and Newcastle. Check website for further details.

Just to add that it is worth checking your own local branch of Cats Protection even if it isn't mentioned in the list of neutering schemes on the main CP site. For instance, up here the Moray Branch is doing a £10 neutering scheme for those on low income/benefits.
