Regular NY sales?

Hi,
I was wondering if there were any 'usual' sale periods for NY holidays? I know Virgin and BA have sales and they seem fairly regular to me but I've only ever deleted the emails as I couldn't afford it so not paid too much attention!
We're looking to go in the first week of Jan (after NYE) and I'm hoping we might enter a sales period about November.
does it work like that or is it more random?
Thanks in advance,
Kaz

I too would be interested in any replies to this as we are thinking of going that very same week.0

Not really. Flights costs rarely vary by much. The majority of the flight costs are taxes. Hotel room costs in New York do vary depending on the time of year. January/February tend to be a cheap months to visit in terms of hotel costs, while September/November tend to be very expensive.0

The traditional September flight sales will pop up soon so might be worth a look.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

The flight sales started a couple of days ago, I had emails from BA and American. I found flights to Hawaii for £700, LA for £550 etc. NYC started at £450.0

Thanks everyone!
I know the sales are on at the minute but I just wondered if they worked in cycles as I can't afford it at this particular moment!LBM: January 2010DFD: August 27th 20120 -
