I didn't buy the white wine as I don't drink it, so i guess I'll never know!! I'm going back tomorrow though to see if there are more reductions :-)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Just opened a letter from Iceland dated 24th March saying that telephone, internet and cable TV shopping will be closing. Last day for orders will be 22nd April. They say in the letter for me to try their "free" home delivery service when I shop in store. They also sent a voucher for £10 off £40 shop! That should bring the price per bottle of wine down! Hope that you get your voucher Curry_Queen.

I got my letter and voucher the other day but it's of no use to me as I can't do my shopping in stores
I had a good ole moan to the driver yesterday and he reckons they're none too happy about it either as it will mean 4,000 jobs being cut across the country  Apparently the internet shopping side of things cost £20 million a year to run and this new company are making severe cutbacks across the board, including electricals too.
What I don't figure though is that I've spoken to two Iceland employees about this now, and mentioned that I'd just have to use Tesco from now on, and both commented about having to pay for delivery with Tesco when theirs was free, which is true, and seemed amazed that I didn't mind paying! I'd happily start paying for Iceland to deliver if it meant they continued the internet service and maybe they could afford to run it then "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

went to iceland last night, numerous bargains.
my favourite being 4 x 330ml bottle of 1664 plus two free glasses (very nice) at an absolute bargain price of £3.
managed to grab two sets.
came in very handy when watching the footy last night.
come on you reds !!!No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -
Just bagged another 2 bottles of ernest & gallo, you've gotta look carefully at the bottle! On the front label at bottom your looking for the californian red not the merlot, they both look the same so watch out!!!0

I'm just back from the South Edinburgh branch of Iceland.
Lots of reduced frozen items (about 6 freezers full in total) and quite a few non-frozen reductions, too.
Lots of reduced items were in with the 'normal priced' items, just look out for the yellow labels.
Bargains I bought included:
Smokin' bacon pringles £1.00
907g Value sweetcorn £0.50p
10 pk burger fingers (kids club) £1.00
570g Top down ketchup (heinz) £1.69
Lyles 454g Golden Syrup £0.50p
3 tins of Felix Cat food £1.00
Surf Lemon Fresh tablets (18) £1.50
Snickers 8 Ice cream bars £0.99p
Grampian 3kg Fozen chicken £2.50
200g Unsmoked back bacon £1.00 (Bogof) ** Originally £1.99 (Bogof) **
50% extra free Honey Nut Cheerios £1.50
Could have got lots more frozen food if I hadn't just done a big shop last week! Grrrr.

I've just been to Iceland looking for the wine for 1p. Didn't see the wine but saw most of the things listed above plus....
Whole Frozen Duckling £5.99 down to £3
10 Iceland Mini Choc-Icecream Lollies £1.99 down to 50p!!
Bought 20 boxes of choc ices as everybody at work wanted some.
I'd gladly accept a £10 voucher people cannot spend! It's easier than I thought to run up a big bill. Used mine on Hardy's wine on multisave 3 for £10 as there was no decent wine in the sale.0
