Property Prices over last 5 years

Not sure if this is the right place for this as require this info the IHT/CGT purposes, so could have posted over in "cutting tax", but wanted to know if there is any reliable sites on infomation on Property Price increses over the last few years. Looked around and in 2006, 10% increase was seen in London, but wanted something thats more concrete, not just article in paper.
