The OP asked for an IFA which is not the same as a mortgage broker so is the code of conduct rellevantI like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)0

Of course , as the IFA would also need have have the mortgage authorisation to advise on mortgagesAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0

although does highlight the need to get IFAs & other FAs included in the codeAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0

I think there are only two IFAs actively posting on the board right now. We basically follow the mortgage adviser rules so its not exactly a priority.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
